Spanning more than 500 acres along the shores of Puget Sound in Seattle, this remarkable park offers an incredible variety of scenery — dramatic bluff-top views, winding woodland trails, a sweeping sandy beach, and a picturesque lighthouse that practically glows during golden hour. It's genuinely one of my go-to spots for engagement sessions, anniversary portraits, and so much more.
What makes Discovery Park even more special is its rich history. The park sits on the grounds of the former Fort Lawton military installation, and several beautifully preserved heritage buildings still dot the landscape, adding a timeless, storied atmosphere to every frame.
